What is baptism? 

Baptism is an important step for anyone who chooses to follow Jesus. It’s a way to show on the outside what God has done on the inside. When someone goes under the water, it’s like saying goodbye to their old life. When they come back up, it represents starting fresh with a new life that follows Jesus.

Baptism is a picture of what Jesus did for us: He died, was buried, and rose again. The Bible says that when we follow Him, we get to rise into a new life too (Romans 6:4). Baptism is our way of celebrating that amazing change and sharing it with others.
